Senior Community Holds Fishing Derby

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. – Peregrine’s Landing Senior Community, located at 575 Cayuga Creek Road, held its first annual Fishing Tournament for residents on Tuesday, and by all accounts it was a great success.

The fishing derby was coordinated by the residents and staff of Peregrine’s Landing. Top honors went to: Henry Wozniak (for catching the most fish); Joe Trawinski (who tied the team of George Adams, junior and senior, for largest fish); and Ray Czech (for smallest fish). The event was held at “Little Lake George” in Alden.
