Following a very successful soft opening at their spacious new location at 4557 Main St. in Snyder, Farmers & Artisans will host a grand opening celebration from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 4. Guests will have an opportunity to meet several local food producers and sample many of their products during the day-long event.

A local food market and artisan bakery, Farmers & Artisans was previously located at 78 East Spring St. in Williamsville. The new location places even greater focus on local and sustainable food products provided by smaller producers and growers, according to owner Julie Blackman. Blackman’s family also owns Blackman Homestead Farm in Lockport.

Women from all over Western New York will be at the Millennium Hotel Buffalo on Sunday, April 21 to shop and celebrate spring.

The Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce is hosting “Celebrate Spring…Celebrate You…An Event for Women”.  Over 40 local businesses are participating in this event to showcase their products and services at the Millennium Hotel from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.  Over 250 women attended the 2012 Event

The Winter Market at Horsefeathers, located at 346 Connecticut St. on Buffalo’s West Side, continues its successful run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through May 4. 

Entertaining guests this Saturday, April 6, will be Dan & Leanne from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and accordionist Mary Frances Guerra from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Also visiting the market this Saturday will be volunteers from GObike Buffalo/Play Streets.
