Tickets are $20 each. We will also be having a chinese auction. All the money will be donated to Roswell for Breast cancer! So join us for a night of fun for a great cause!

2011 WNY Local Restaurant Week

Restaurant week begins Monday September, 26th and runs through Sunday October, 2nd, get out and enjoy a great meal at a fantastic price of $21.11!

Restaurant Weeks have taken off across the country. But it would be hard to find a region more successful than Western New York, where the promotion has exploded from 60 operators in spring 2009 to over 200 this past spring.

Local Restaurant Week celebrates the unique independent restaurants that contribute to our great WNY culture. Profits from each dollar spent at your locally-owned, independent restaurant stay in WNY and help make our community stronger. Join us, show your support, and tell some friends.

This weekend,  join us in the Village of Williamsville to celebrate Octoberfest! Kicking off our month of Paint the Village Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness, this weekend is sure to be packed with fall fun! German food and drink specials will be running all weekend at Pizza Plant, Milo's, Glen Park Tavern, Prosit, the Irishman, and many other local restaurants. Just to give you a quick look of the schedule of events, here are some of the highlights of this weekend's activities:

  • Friday at 3pm the Mayor of Williamsville will be opening the first keg to kick off the weekend!
  • Saturday morning after the weekly Farmer's Market, come down to the Irishman Pub for a GIANT pumpkin weigh off
  • Saturday afternoon in Glen Park is a nature scavenger hunt
  • All weekend long the Glen Park Tavern will be running drink specials, live music, and even a pretzel making activity for the kids!

Law Enforcement to Serve Patrons Not Tickets at Cheektowaga Applebee’s

Local law enforcement officials will be on-hand at the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurant in Cheektowaga, NY from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.on Thursday, September 29, but they won’t be enforcing laws or serving up tickets. Instead, the officers will be serving Applebee’s customers all to raise funds for Special Olympics athletes in New York State. More than 40 Applebee’s locations across the state will participate in Law and Orders night.

Officers will join forces with employees of the Cheektowaga Applebee’s located at 1785 Walden Avenue, and assist servers and hosts by performing their various tasks. In return, Applebee’s customers will have the option to tip the officers, directly benefitting the more than 51,000 Special Olympics athletes in New York State.
