CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. -- A Cheektowaga family lost nearly everything they own in a fire at their home Monday night.

The fire broke out late Monday afternoon at the Rufus family home on Flora Road.  Five children and their parents who live inside were not hurt.  But the fire, and efforts to put it out caused severe smoke and water damage inside the home.

The family is in need of clothing. 

These are the sizes of each member of the family:

Ashley - juniors size, 11 pants, junior size large tops
Melissa - junior size, 3 long pants, junior size medium shirt Joanna - junior size, 3 average pants, junior size medium shirts
Darien - boys size 16 slim pants ( for length) he is rather slim, size 14/16 shirt
Anthony - boys size 12 or 14 slim pants, and shirts size 14.
Darien (Father) - men's extra large shirt , and extra large pants , or 40 waist, 32 length.
Linda (Mother) - women's plus size 22/24, or 3x

They would also be appreciative of any Walmart or Target gift cards to purchase daily necessities, hygiene products, books or toys.

Drop off times are Wednesday through Friday 9am-2pm (Please ring the bell near the door and you will be let in) Saturday 12pm-3pm (Door will be open)

You can also make a monetary donation by stopping by any First Niagara Bank Branch and donating to the Rufus Family Fund.
