Cheektowaga Police Arrest Christmas Thief | News

CHEEKTOWAGA, NY -- Acting on tips received from the public, Cheektowaga Police have arrested a suspected thief who hit two stores during the holidays, according to a statement issued by police on Thursday.

They say Judith Nestel, 64, seen in the surveillance photo here, entered the employee locker room of the BEBE Store on Christmas Eve and stole a worker's wallet.

Nestel allegedly did the same thing four days later at the Pottery Barn.

She had just been released from prison on December 19. 

She is charged with four counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree and one count of petit larceny.
