West Seneca’s Outdoor Farmers’ Market to Return on May 14

 

Main Street Marketplace, West Seneca’s popular open-air farmers’ and food producers’ marketplace sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union, will return for its second season on Thursday, May 14. The weekly event will take place on Thursday evenings through Sept. 3 on the grassy hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, next to West Seneca Town Hall.

The outdoor venue will feature approximately 20 full-time (16-week) and 10 part-time (eight-week) vendors selling a wide variety of products. For updates on participating vendors, please visit Main Street Marketplace, West Seneca on Facebook.

Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market Announces Annual Poster Competition

 

The Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market will hold its fifth annual poster contest to promote the outdoor market’s upcoming 2015 season. Entries for the poster competition are due by 5 p.m. Friday, March 6. Whether you’re a student studying the arts, a professional graphic designer or just someone with a creative streak, you’re invited to submit your design for an 11x17-inch color poster that accurately reflects the feel of the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market.

A new indoor farmers’ and food producers’ market will open inside the new 3,000-square-foot home of The Pasta Peddler and Blackbird Sweets, located at 1547 Hertel Ave., Buffalo, on Saturday, Nov. 22. The 20-week market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through April 4.

The popular Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, featuring nearly 40 vendors selling fresh, seasonal and local produce and products, continues its 15th season on Oct. 25. A program of the Elmwood Village Association, the market is held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, rain or shine, through Nov. 29. 

Providing musical entertainment on Oct. 25 (weather permitting) will be violinist David Adamczyk from 9:30 to 11 a.m, followed by Monica Huntz from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Occupying the market’s community tables this Saturday will be Asha Sanctuary, GA Family Services Foster Care and Cornell University. Additionally, Weiss Farms will be bringing their popular pumpkin wagon back to the market on Oct. 25!

The popular Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, featuring nearly 40 vendors selling fresh, seasonal and local produce and products, continues its 15th season on Oct. 4. A program of the Elmwood Village Association, the market is held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, rain or shine, through Nov. 29. 

Providing musical entertainment on Oct. 4 (weather permitting) will be singer/guitarist Don Z. from 9:30 to 11 a.m, followed by the Nickel City String Band from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Occupying the market’s community table this Saturday will be Liberty Mutual.

The popular Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, featuring nearly 40 vendors selling fresh, seasonal and local produce and products, continues its 15th season on Sept. 13. A program of the Elmwood Village Association, the market is held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, rain or shine, through Nov. 29. 

Providing musical entertainment on Sept. 13 (weather permitting) will be Brian & Peg from 9:30 to 11 a.m, followed by Birdie Cree from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Occupying the market’s community tables this Saturday will be Fidelis Care New York and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County.

West Seneca’s Outdoor Marketplace to Conclude with Customer Appreciation Day

 

West Seneca’s Main Street Marketplace, sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union, will conclude its first season from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, with a special Customer Appreciation Day! 

Several vendors at the market will offer special discounts on Sept. 4, the final day of the 16-week outdoor market. Customer Appreciation Day will also feature two musical groups, including the Slide Tribe from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and P.J. King from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The Reserve Hose Ladies Auxiliary is the featured community group, and Pet Connection Programs Inc. will return with their popular pet totes and puppies!
