Hot Spots Send Fire Crews Back to Scene

BUFFALO, N.Y. - An early morning fire from Thursday is still causing problems Saturday afternoon. Firefighters were on scene to check on hot spots that were reported Saturday morning.

It's been two days since the flames broke out at a warehouse housing the Superior Pallets Company on Dingens Street near the Buffalo/ Cheektowaga border. The flames were finally extinguished, and fire investigators are now looking into how the fire exactly was started. Fire Commissioner Garnell Whitfield says at this point they do not think there is anything suspicious about the blaze. But federal agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms are assisting in the investigation as a standard procedure according to Whitfield.

What they do know is that the damages from the massive blaze total $4 million.
