A Message From the Local Makers of Cool Gel ’n Cap

We are proud and devoted parents to a toddler named Lukas. He's very curious about the world around him and loves to play with all his heart!

We have worked hard to bring the best quality products to parents everywhere for their growing, curious and playful children — just like Lukas. We designed Cool Gel ’n Cap to help relieve the stress and pain of “lumps and bumps” that toddlers inevitably experience through accidents or play.

Wilson Farms Stores Sold to 7-Eleven

WILLIAMSVILLE, NY -- WFI Acquisition, Inc. , led by the Nanula family and Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill, & Co. announced Wednesday the sale of 188 Wilson Farms locations to convenience store chain7-Eleven.

A spokesperson for 7-Eleven says once the deal closes, they'll look at how Wilson Farms runs its stores so they can incorporate their best practices into the 7-Eleven model.  Following that, they plan on converting each Wilson Fams location into a 7-Eleven store.

Wilson Farms started out as a division of Tops in 1969. In 1991, the chain was sold to Ahold along with 59 Tops supermarket locations, and Tops acquired the Sugarcreek stores in May, 2000. In 2005, the Nanula family partnered with Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. and Dan Shanahan, Wilson Farms' CFO, to purchase the Wilson Farms and Sugarcreek stores from Tops.

Several Major Road Construction Projects Begin

GRAND ISLAND, NY-If you travel the Grand Island bridge, there's some work going on this week you should know about.

Repair work will take place on the south Grand Island bridge of the I-190 northbound from 10 PM-6AM every day this week, starting Monday night.

The road will be down to one lane, so expect delays.

Another big project is the 190/290 Interchange. Expect to see one lane traffic for the next several months. That doesn't cause major delays, but it will be on-going through the fall.

There are three new paving projects on heavily traveled roads that will soon get underway.
